Important! Avaira Contact Lens Recall!
CooperVision is recalling certain boxes of Avaira Toric and Avaira Sphere contact lenses due to a level of silicone oil residue that exceeded their quality requirements.
The residue may cause hazy vision or discomfort, severe eye pain or eye injuries requiring medical treatment. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, please call our office.
A small percentage of Avaira Toric and Avaira Sphere lenses are affected by this situation. Please check the lot number on the carton or blister label you have by using the search box at www.coopervision.com/recall to see if your lenses are among those affected.
If so, discontinue wear and return the lenses to our office. You may also call the Coopervision Consumer Care Hotline at 1-855-526-6737 |
